Dang. I had a fall a couple of months ago but all I hurt was my arse.
I tried to walk through a sliding door in the dark only to discover that
it wasn't fully open. I still remember the bounce and it was a stone
floor too.

Last fall I had was when I was dragging a garden hose backwards
across the lawn and a small grandchild ran behind me and tripped me
up. I did not bounce. Went down like a sack of potatoes.

I have an 82" TV on a wheeled floor stand. It sits on a big aluminum
H-shaped base about 6" off the floor because of the wheels. I came
down on that right across my lower ribs, and I thought I cracked a
couple. My kidney hurt like hell too. I almost went to the hospital
over that. I decided to wait it out instead, but it hurt like hell
for a couple weeks. I forgot what made me fall. Probably a cat
because they don't have the sense to stay out from under my feet.

I have a Jaguar. Took the kittens out on a drive and had to go further
than I wanted to because 'Darkness' was under the brake. Just desert
and the mountains on the horizon. I could have left and drove anywhere

I had a elektrishun fall of a stepladder once and had to fill out a
bunch of bullshit forms for OSHA. They went on and on about what
caused the injury... he fell off a ladder, and not even a very big
one. Then the final question was again something like "what caused
the injury? I just wrote "gravity". Apparently they were satisfied
with that, because they didn't bug me anymore.
