how to count??

i want to know how many times i have posted and in which group?
is there any tool or something that easily lets me see where all
i have posted and how many times?

i searched online but got an egg. so i decided to take matters
into my own hands, using excel and countif function (pivot table
also fine, just need to adjust cell representation, reduce
columns and put it all under one column, maybe next time).

so from 01st october onwards, until today, including from eternal
september and blocknews, including all the random groups other
people included in followups, as well as cross-posts that have

I don't know everything; that's above my pay grade. [shrug]

the numbers i got are from using the messages archived in the
sent folder. in thunderbird, it is saved in a file called sent in
the profile folder.

all i did was count the newsgroups in that file per sent message.

It seems you need to reduce this. A simple formula would be to only
count the first newsgroup in the crosspost list, to get the right

hmmm.. i could just isolate the groups i am actually subscribed
to and count only those..... nahhh the overcount issue is still
there. its a sad sad day.
